Walk So Kids Can Talk

Toronto , Tuesday, May 1, 2018

On Sunday, May 6, join thousands of Canadians for the 17th annual Walk So Kids Can Talk. The 5 km walk takes place at 39 sites across Canada with fun activities for the whole family. It’s a great way to build community and enjoy a fun, family friendly experience outdoors while supporting an important cause.

The funds raised at the Walk So Kids Can Talk support Kids Help Phone, Canada's only national 24-hour, bilingual and anonymous phone and web counselling and referral service for children and youth to connect with a counselor whenever they want, however they want.

There is no registration fee to participate but the suggested fundraising minimum is $100 per person; you can register up until May 6. Please consider registering as an individual or a team with friends, family or co-workers, and help make a difference in a young person’s life.

“Kids Help Phone literally saved my life tonight. I was in desperate need of someone to talk to and it was there.” – Kids Help Phone service user

In 2017 the Walk raised $3.7 million for Kids Help Phone. All of the money raised goes toward ensuring Kids Help Phone can continue to provide its counselling service to young people in communities across Canada.
