It’s CMHA Mental Health Week!

Toronto , Tuesday, May 2, 2017

From May 1–7, Canadians from coast to coast to coast are encouraged to GET LOUD for mental health in their schools, workplaces, and communities. The Canadian Mental Health Association’s CMHA Mental Health Week is an annual national event that takes place during the first week in May to encourage people from all walks of life to learn, talk, reflect and engage with others on all issues relating to mental health.

Mental Health Week events are being held across Canada in celebration of CMHA Mental Health Week. A complete list of events can be found here.

Founded in 1918, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is the most established, most extensive community mental health organization in Canada. Through a presence in hundreds of neighbourhoods across every province, CMHA provides advocacy and resources that help to prevent mental health problems and illnesses, support recovery and resilience, and enable all Canadians to flourish and thrive.
