After 110 days and more than 11,000 kilometers from coast to coast to coast, Clara’s Big Ride for Bell Let's Talk came to a magnificent end on Parliament Hill during Canada Day 2014 celebrations.
The 105 communities where events took place embraced the ride and our team and helped share our message with so many more. You have made a difference both locally at a grassroots level and nationally as you lent your collective voices to the conversation of mental wellness.
The 80 school and youth groups who participated in the ride shared their voice through the highs and lows of this journey. These incredible youth have the ability to end the stigma of mental illness across this country. Thank you Canada. You cared about the conversation we have started about mental health. Now let’s make sure that we continue to carry on this conversation together.
“We are stronger together. As I made my way over 11,000 kilometers on this journey around the country, I can tell you that the passion of Canadians for this cause served as the wind at my back, continuously pushing me towards the finish line. I gained strength, hope and inspiration from every person I met along the way – this is something that truly matters to the people of Canada.”

Day 1 of the ride began with a team ride on a chilly Toronto day from Maple Leaf Square to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
